CHRISTOPHER CONNELLY: At the Law Office of Christopher Connelly, we handle all types of federal and state criminal law cases. We handle DWI, traffic offenses, drug offenses, violent offenses, and any other types of cases that are brought in the federal or state criminal courts.

With any criminal case, the goal from the outset is to have the case dismissed or to have some other resolution of the case that is in the best interest of the client.

In trying to get a case dismissed, we look at all the evidence and we also look at--for weaknesses in the prosecutor's case. Some firms will have a newer associate go into court to handle a client's case while the more senior lawyers handle business development. I handle each case personally from, start to finish so I'm intimately familiar with the client's expectations and the evidence in that case.

It's important to hire an experienced criminal defense lawyer. You have to get somebody in the very beginning who knows what they're looking for and what they're doing. In my experience, I've handled many different types of criminal cases and I understand the complexities and the challenges that can arise in a courtroom.
